When is the Best Time to Book a Maternity Session?

For most expecting moms, the ideal time for a maternity photo shoot is between 28 to 34 weeks. During this window:

  • Your baby bump is beautifully round and prominent.
  • You’re still comfortable enough to walk and pose.
  • There’s less risk of going into labor early.

Booking in advance (at least 6-8 weeks ahead) ensures your preferred date and gives time for planning outfits and styling.

What to Wear for a Cocoa Beach Maternity Session

Choosing the right outfit is key to achieving that soft, coastal aesthetic. Here are some tips:

  • Flowy dresses in light, neutral tones like ivory, blush, soft blue, or earthy colors.
  • Consider textures like lace, chiffon, or cotton for added dimension.
  • Barefoot on the beach is always a timeless look.
  • Partners and siblings should wear coordinating colors for a cohesive feel.
  • Avoid bold patterns or busy prints that distract from the natural scenery.
