Sunset Maternity Session | Ross Witham Beach

The Magic of a Beach Maternity Session in Stuart, Florida

There’s something truly magical about capturing maternity photos by the ocean. Recently, I had the honor of photographing a beautiful maternity session on the serene beaches of Stuart, Florida. With the golden sunset casting a soft glow over the waves, this session perfectly highlighted the natural beauty of motherhood — and reminded me why beach maternity photography on the Treasure Coast is one of my favorites, even as a Central Florida Photographer.

Why Choose Stuart Beach for Your Maternity Photos?

Stuart, Florida, offers some of the most picturesque coastal backdrops in the Treasure Coast. Its wide sandy beaches, swaying sea oats, and peaceful shoreline create a romantic, timeless setting perfect for celebrating your growing family. Whether you’re drawn to golden-hour portraits or love the soft pastels of sunrise, Stuart Beach offers endless possibilities.

For this session at Ross Witham Beach, we timed our shoot just before sunset. The golden hues of the sky, paired with the gentle ocean breeze, made every moment feel intimate and organic. It’s a beautiful reminder of how nature adds a touch of magic to every maternity session.

What to Expect During a Beach Maternity Photoshoot

My goal is to make every expecting mama feel relaxed, radiant, and confident in front of the camera. During this maternity session, we kept the focus on connection — between mom, her bump, and her partner. Flowing dresses, soft neutrals, and barefoot moments created a dreamy, ethereal vibe that felt effortless and elegant.

If you’re wondering what to wear or how to prepare for your own beach maternity photoshoot, I offer personalized wardrobe guidance to ensure you feel your best while complementing the natural tones of the beach. Check out my Maternity Pinterest Board for outfit ideas and inspo.
