Booking your engagement session is such an exciting step in your wedding journey—and I’m so honored to be part of it! Whether you’re newly engaged or just starting to plan, this session is all about celebrating you two and the beautiful love you share. It’s also a great opportunity for us to get to know each other before the wedding day.

If you’re wondering how to book your session, what to expect, or how we choose the perfect location together—here’s everything you need to know!

This session was taken at a local coffee shop in Cocoa Village

1. Start by Reaching Out

The first step is simple—just head over to my website and fill out a short inquiry form letting me know a little bit about you and your partner. You’ll want to include your ideal timeframe, any important dates you’re working around, and whether you already have a location in mind (don’t worry if you don’t—that’s what I’m here for!).

Once we chat and confirm availability, I’ll send over all the booking details, including a contract and invoice to officially reserve your session.

2. Let’s Get Personal

This part is my favorite. I love asking my couples questions to really get to know them—because your engagement session should feel like you.

Some of the questions I might ask include:

  • What do you like to do together?
  • How do you want to feel when you look back at these photos in 20 years?
  • Do you know each other’s love language?
  • What can I do to make this photoshoot feel like a fun date?

These little details help us choose a location that feels meaningful and true to your story. Maybe it’s the beach where you like to have a picnic on, a cute little bar where you had your first date, a nature trail you both love, or a place that reflects your shared passions.

3. Picking the Perfect Location

Once I have a feel for your vibe and story, I’ll suggest a few location options that fit your style. Whether it’s the golden glow of a beach at sunset, a cafe, or an earthy outdoor setting full of natural light—I’ll help you find the perfect backdrop that reflects your relationship and photographs beautifully.

Bonus: I’m always scouting new spots and can even recommend hidden gems that photograph like a dream!

4. Planning the Details

After we choose the location, I’ll send over a guide with styling tips, what to bring, and what to expect during the session. You’ll feel confident, prepared, and ready to just enjoy the moment with your person.

And don’t worry—I’ll be there to guide you through natural, easy posing and make sure you both feel comfortable and connected the entire time.

5. Let the Magic Happen

On session day, you get to show up, be yourselves, and have fun. Laugh, snuggle, dance, be playful—this is about capturing you two, just as you are. I’ll take care of the rest.
